H-2B Visa

When an employer has a temporary need while qualified U.S. workers are unavailable to do the job, skilled or unskilled foreign nationals in nonagricultural positions can work in the U.S. temporary. It is very important to recognize that temporariness of the employer’s need for the skills is the main point of the H-2B visa. The duration of stay depends on how long the employer needs the alien’s skills. The alien must prove that he/she intend to go back while the job is over.

A company can seek entry for a number of skilled or unskilled temporary workers at the same time as long as they perform the same service in the same location.
